Hello everybody!!
Yesterday night I cooked this delicious and healthy soup. I called it like that thinking to attract children, but now I’m wondering: do children still know Popeye or it’s just my “old” generation?? 😀 Anyway, you can call it “Monster’s Soup”, I guess children would love it heheheh 🙂 I put dried hot pepper in there, obviously you can avoid it!
Ingredients:
190 gr washed and dry spinach
280 gr peeled potatoes
330 gr cleaned broccoli (I use the florets, the stem – without the hard skin – and leaves)
150 gr cleaned leeks
1 carrot
1/2 lt vegetable broth
1 garlic clove
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp grated ginger
Dried hot pepper
Powdered rosemary
Shelled hemp seeds
Extra virgin olive oil
Method:
Heat the oil in capacious pot, add chopped garlic, leeks and carrots, and let them golden brown, with a sprinkle of hot pepper and rosemary.
Steam potatoes (cut to thin slices), spinach and broccoli.
Now add vegetables in the pot, and stir-fry for some minutes.
Pour 1/2 lt of vegetable broth, lower the flame, keep the lid on and cook for about 10′.
Add turmeric powder and ginger, and cook 5′ more.
Now use your hand blender to make your soup creamy, and serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a sparkle of hemp seeds.
Enjoy!
Ciao a tutti!
150 gr porri (puliti)
1 carota
½ lt brodo vegetale
1 spicchio d’aglio
1 cucchiaino curcuma in polvere
1 cucchiaino zenzero grattugiato
Peperoncino
Rosmarino
Semi di canapa decorticati
Olio evo
Procedimento:
Buon appetito!
