Hello everyone!
I think you know the very famous Kousmine method (if not you can look here http://www.organic-e-publishing-international.com/english/test/1037-2/ or just google it!), well I think it’s very interesting, but obviously the vegan version 😉
I particularly love the Budwig cream you can have for breakfast: it’s very nourishing and tasty…and you can always change it with various in season fruits!
The original (veganized) Budwig cream contemplates soy yogurt, but I use it just sometimes, and sometimes I use home-made vegetable milk instead.
Also, it considers 1 tablespoon of flax seeds (for the omega 3), but I interchange them with hemp seeds (12 gr) and chia seeds (2 teaspoons), other omega 3 sources.
This is the cream I had yesterday for breakfast, I love the berries’ season!! 🙂
I’m sorry I didn’t weigh the berries, but in general you should have about 200 gr of fruit.
Ingredients (for 1 person):
Strawberries
Raspberries
Blueberries
5 pitted dates (I use mazafati quality)
12 gr shelled hemp seeds
1 tbsp buckwheat
1 tbsp raw cocoa beans
1 tbsp almonds
1/2 lemon juice
Home made almond milk
Method:
Grind the buckwheat (you can also use brown rice) and the cocoa beans.
If you use shelled hemp seeds (as I do), you won’t need to grind them. If you use flax seeds or chia seeds, you’ll have to grind them and use them immediately.
Put the berries and the dates in your bowl, sprinkle hemp seeds, ground buckwheat and cocoa beans on it, add the almonds (you can choose to grind them or not, I did), pour the lemon juice and the milk…that’s it! 🙂
Enjoy!
Ciao a tutti!
Buon appetito!
